One of the most awesome taxi fares ever.. picked up these guys at 6th and 35. First thing said; "were Japanese".. I say.. "you don't say?".. of course I was the only one that saw the humor..
On the way I found these were really some very high caliber nice people. I felt privileged to have them in my cab.
Asked why they chose Austin, it was said that Austin is known throughout Japan as the Rock Music Capital of the United States. I gotta say.. that statement really made me feel proud to live here.
